Purchased a property via Convey Law in August 2020, as of January 2024 I am still not the registered owner with the land registry. Initially told by employee V in 2020, that the delay was caused by covid and is in hand. Upon investigating myself a year later, the problem was discovered that paperwork is missing. Fast forward 3 years all I am told is "we are chasing sellers solicitors".
Have made an official complaint to Convey Law January 4th 2024, still no response, will be going down the route of Legal Ombudsman, and all other avenues open. If Convey Law actually decide to contact me and resolve this issue I am happy to update this review as needed.
Fundamentally we are almost 4 years later and cannot sell our property nor get Convey Law to do their job. d

Anthony dealt with my remortgage case with professionalism. I was really impressed about the work done to meet the target to complete it by the 12/01/2024 and he achieved it and it's saved me to pay more high interest with my former lender. Overall, He delivered an excellent job.

Avoid! Astonishingly poor service. This was the buyer's solicitor and she regularly made herself completely unreachable to her own client, the estate agent and my solicitor. A totally unprofessional attitude, with no regard for anyone but her own convenience. Completion has been delayed and delayed with no clear reason, but the fact that she was unavailable and/or had chosen to work in a fractious manner and just happen to remember that she had another enquiry before we could progress. Appearing to just buy herself more time. Her service leaves you completely in the dark and unable to plan,as there is no time frame. It is terrible to see from the other reviews, that much of this behaviour: the lack of communication and lack of time-keeping has affected others. There needs to be a much higher standard of service at this firm. Thoroughly frustrating.

I received phenomenal service from Jack Grout!!! I could not have wished or prayed for a better person. On the ball with everything, so nice, returned every call and email. The best service ever I will always use Jack!!
In the last hour, we received a number of issues (from the other side solicitors to the mortgage company), Jack handled them all! Did everything to get it over the line! Amazing service, great client care and customer service!

We wanted to thank Megan Jone's team at Convey Law for the support, legal advice and input they have provided us in this journey to buy our home. It feels amazing now that the purchase is complete, we would not be in this position without them. We are truly grateful for all the hard work they have put into this process, as first-time buyers at times we felt clueless but they have been fantastic in guiding and advising us every step of the way. We appreciate and are impressed at the level of professionalism and efficiency in their service.

We had a good experience with Convey Law. We were always treated with great respect. All information required was provided. We were kept updated on a weekly basis on the status of things. And Ebony was always happy to talk me through the details in a very pleasant manner. She was very instrumental to our completion timing which could have taken much longer.

We used Convey Law for the purchase of our house and we had THE worst experience ever.
Firstly, communication was very poor. It mainly happened over emails as it was impossible to get through our lawyer’s phone number. Many of our questions were left unanswered. The only way to receive a call back was by leaving a voice message. Hours later a member of the team (not our lawyer) would then call us back knowing very little about the case.
They did not have our best interest at heart. We made 2 very clear requests to the vendor through Convey Law and made it clear that those were a deal breaker. It was only after the purchase that we found out those requests had not been honoured by the vendors. When we addressed this to our lawyer, their answer was that our requests were “informal” and nothing could be done.
Would Not recommend!

A significant part of our experience was our contact with Helen Brown our solicitor who was unfailingly pleasant and professional despite challenges from the other side solicitors. It was good to have continuous updates on where we were at through Helen and what is expected at each stage of the ongoing process on our purchase. We were also assured by the thorough searches that Helen completed and felt that all possibilities and risks were highlighted. Thank you Helen and Convey Law.

Overall the service was outstanding. Despite the lengthy run of our house sale (10 months) Convey law we're understanding and helpful from start to finish. Would not hesitate recommending them to others. Very reasonable for the amount of work they had to do too. Claudia Bediako was excellent throught but special mention to Tom who covered for her in her absence on completion week.

"I recently enlisted the services of this conveyancing team for my property transaction. Overall, I found the service to be above average, with several notable strengths and areas for improvement. **Positives:** 1. **Detail-Oriented:** The team was extremely thorough in handling every aspect of the conveyancing process. Their attention to detail ensured that no part of the transaction was overlooked. 2. **Responsive Email Communication:** I was particularly impressed by their promptness in replying to emails. They consistently responded within an hour, which was greatly appreciated and helped keep the process moving. **Cons:** 1. **Lack of Phone Support:** One major drawback was their unavailability for phone calls. This made real-time discussions or quick clarifications challenging. 2. **Slow Document Review:** The team was somewhat slow in reviewing my documents. This occasionally led to delays in the overall process. 3. **Need for Constant Prompting:** I found myself needing to prompt the team frequently to speed up the process, which, while effective, was an additional task for me during what was already a busy time. In summary, while their detailed approach and quick email responses were commendable, improvements in phone availability, document processing speed, and proactive action would enhance their service greatly."
